If you looked up Big House in a dictionary I think it would look something like this…
Big House: (big adj., n., adj. hous)
1. a place where all the neighborhood kids come to hang out, which includes YOU!
2. a funky community center where you never know what is going to happen.
3. a place where SUPER talented kids show off for JESUS by dancing, singing, rapping, drumming, skating, cheering, and much more!
4. a place where everyone is welcome, especially YOU, to come and learn about God’s love… because it’s GOD’S HOUSE!!!
I believe Webster’s definition is EXACTLY right!! Big House is just a big hang out for anyone and everyone! On The Big House Sunday's you get an opportunity chill at the Big House and see the lives of the Big House gang unfold.
Each week Big House has a theme given by the Big House’s pet dog T-bone, and Bible Verse Girl pumps us up with a word from the Bible that helps us to know what God says about things. And you never know how in the world the gang is going to get into trouble, or even stay out of trouble, to show all of US how God wants us to live! It’s fun…it’s crazy…and it gets even better!
Big House also has a bunch of talented kids who help us to see God in really DIFFERENT ways! Ever thought about jumping as high as you could in the air? Or banging on your Mamma’s pots and pans? Or busting out in a song or rap? Or even skate boarding around and around till you fall down? Or waving your hands in the air like you just don’t care? Well we don’t just think about it…we do it at the Big House! And we don’t just do it…we do it for JESUS!
We learn more about God’s love & word through these awesomely cool teams!
So what is Big House? Guess you’ll just have to come and see because you WON’T want to miss out on this week’s show! Who knows who will be there and what will happen?!
